Friendship
Prolouge [Alex]
My son, though I love him, I will not have him. These are the exact words that came from Diane Dark, a hard-working mother of 3 children, and her husband Dan, a laid back corporate executive of the business world. The two of them were driving out on the highways of New York city at midnight on a rainy winter night. Not a single star was shining in the black abyss in which only the headlights from the car lit the way on the treacherous roads. In the back seat was baby not even 1 day old, not even strapped into a car seat.
"I really don't want to do this Dan," said Diane, tears rolling down her cheeks. Her voice was trembling and the sadness was clear.
"We are NOT having that little mutant freak of a son stay in our household Diane," Dan snapped back. His voice was fierce and uncaring of anything. Diane dared not respond in fear of what Dan would do. He had never actually been respectful to her and was very abusive. It had been nearly an hours drive before the car stopped and Dan quickly got out of the car.
"Get out Diane!" he yelled very loudly. Rain was pouring down on their heads as they reached into the backseat and pulled out their youngest child. dan forcefully put the baby into a crib and carried in over near a tree. There, he took out a note, laid ontop of the baby and drove away with Diane, who was crying her eyes out. The note read:
Dear Whoever,
This, my baby is a mutant freak and is not wanted in my household. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------. And to whoever wants him, his name is Alexander Dark.
